Autumn Screening Days 2023 | The Bigger Picture

Registration is now open for the ICO’s Autumn Screening Days, a chance to watch some of the best upcoming independent films to help you plan how to get audiences for them once they’re released.

Programme

So far the film programme includes The Pot-au-Feu, Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry, Disco Boy and Ramona – with many more to be announced soon.

This year’s edition is taking place at Phoenix, Leicester from 11-12 November and online from 13-19 November! In addition to the usual screenings, there’ll also be a new in-person audience development day for theatrical venues on Friday 10 November.

The BFI Film Audience Network (BFI FAN) aims to ensure the greatest choice of film is available for everyone across the whole of the UK. Supported by National Lottery funding, it is a unique collaboration of eight Film Hubs, managed by leading film organisations and venues strategically placed around the country. Established in 2012, it now has over 1,200 members, including cinemas, festivals, multi-arts venues, community cinemas and film archives, and is at the heart of the BFI’s strategy to build larger and more diverse audiences for UK and international film and a thriving cinema exhibition sector.  Get involved!
