FILM CAMP is returning to Flatpack Festival this May!

Film Hub Midlands has announced the return of FILM CAMP at the seventeenth Flatpack Festival in Birmingham so save the date – Thursday 18 May 2023!

Film Camp is back to gather together film exhibitors from across the Midlands (and beyond!) to share their wealth of experience, and to explore fresh approaches to programming, marketing and audience development. The event is open to everyone from multi-screen venues and festivals to community cinema organisers and student film groups.

Film Camp will be back at the wonderful MAC in Birmingham. Tickets are just £20 and include lunch, refreshments and networking drinks.

Bursaries are available from your local film hub to cover ticket and travel expenses. Film Hub Midland’s members can apply here.

The BFI Film Audience Network (BFI FAN) aims to ensure the greatest choice of film is available for everyone across the whole of the UK. Supported by National Lottery funding, it is a unique collaboration of eight Film Hubs, managed by leading film organisations and venues strategically placed around the country. Established in 2012, it now has over 1,200 members, including cinemas, festivals, multi-arts venues, community cinemas and film archives, and is at the heart of the BFI’s strategy to build larger and more diverse audiences for UK and international film and a thriving cinema exhibition sector.  Get involved!
